SHARING OF INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers. However, the nature of decentralized applications (dApps) requires us to interact with specific third-party infrastructure to render the Interface and execute your trades. We share data with the following categories of service providers.
A. Blockchain Infrastructure Providers (RPC Nodes)
To read data from the blockchain (e.g., your balance) and write data to it (e.g., placing a trade), our Interface must communicate with "Remote Procedure Call" (RPC) nodes.
Who: Providers such as Helius, Alchemy, or QuickNode.
Data Shared: When you sign a transaction, your Wallet Address, Signed Transaction Payload, and temporarily your IP Address are transmitted to these nodes.
Why: This is essential connectivity. Without these nodes, the Interface cannot broadcast your trade to the blockchain network.
B. Authentication & Wallet Infrastructure
If you use our "Social Login" feature (email/Google/X), we utilize third-party wallet-as-a-service providers to secure your account.
Who: Providers such as Web3Auth, Privy, or Magic.
Data Shared: We transmit your Social Authentication Token (e.g., OAuth token) and Email Address to these providers.
Why: These providers use this data to generate and secure your non-custodial wallet keys via Multi-Party Computation (MPC). This allows you to recover your account using your social login without us ever seeing your private key.
C. Cloud Hosting & Security (CDN/WAF)
Our Interface is hosted on cloud servers that deliver the website content to your browser and protect against attacks.
Who: Providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Vercel, or Cloudflare.
Data Shared: Your IP Address, Browser User Agent, and Device Fingerprint.
Why:
Delivery: To load the website assets (HTML, CSS, JS) efficiently from a server nearest to you.
Security: Cloudflare analyzes this data to filter out malicious botnets, DDOS attacks, and enforce our Geo-Blocking policies (preventing access from Restricted Jurisdictions).
D. The Underlying Venues (Smart Contract Interaction)
When you execute a trade, you are not trading "with" us, but interacting directly with third-party decentralized protocols.
Who: The smart contracts of Polymarket (Polygon), Kalshi, or Whales Market (Solana).
Data Shared: Your Wallet Address and the specific Trade Instructions (Market ID, Outcome, Amount) are submitted directly to these smart contracts.
Why: This is the core function of the Interface. Please note that once this data is submitted to the Underlying Venue, it becomes publicly visible on the blockchain and is subject to the immutable nature of the ledger.
E. Legal & Regulatory Compliance
We may disclose your information if we are legally required to do so.
Circumstances: In response to a valid subpoena, court order, search warrant, or similar legal procedure issued by a competent authority.
Data Shared: We may provide off-chain server logs (linking an IP Address to a Wallet Address) or user correspondence records.
Policy: We will attempt to notify users of such requests unless prohibited by law (e.g., by a gag order) or if we believe providing notice would result in physical harm or illegal conduct.
F. Business Transfers
In the event that Whale Prediction is involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information (such as account history and logs) may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. The new entity will be required to honor the terms of this Privacy Policy.
